Professor Hinkle (Frosty) - Pop Out Ornament Kit

We laser cut the ornament components in our Burlington workshop and pack them with the supplies for painting and assembly. You pop out the pieces, add the colour and glue everything together. There’s something especially satisfying about hanging up a little creation with your own brushwork on it.

We use MDF (medium-density fibreboard) for its smooth, consistent surface, making it well suited to painting and assembling the small details in our kits. We previously used plywood, but MDF gives us more predictable results—and gives your paintbrush fewer surprises. Matching the example is optional; making it yours is the fun part.

Unpainted MDF ornament components, paint pots, paint brush, glue, twine and a wood bead, plus ribbon where included with the design. See the individual product’s Paint Colours Included for its palette. A little table space and your creative direction complete the setup.

Keep the components dry and allow the paint and glue to dry fully before hanging your ornament. Dust the finished piece gently with a soft, dry cloth. After the holidays, wrap it and store it somewhere dry so your handiwork is ready for another Christmas.
