How It’s Made

We start with a solid beech cooking utensil and laser engrave the design into the back in our Burlington workshop. The lettering becomes part of the wood, leaving the broad working face clear for kitchen duty. We handle the engraving; seasoning dinner remains your department.
About the Material

Solid beech has a smooth surface and natural grain that gives each utensil its own appearance. Colour and markings vary from piece to piece, so yours may look slightly different from the photograph while carrying the same choice words.
What’s Included

One 12" beech wood cooking spoon/spatula engraved with your selected saying. Ingredients, dinner plans and someone willing to wash up are not included.
Care & Maintenance

Hand wash with warm water and mild dish soap, then dry promptly. Avoid soaking or putting it in the dishwasher. If the wood starts to feel dry, apply a little food-safe wood-conditioning oil according to its instructions. Your utensil appreciates a little maintenance, even if your cooking style is mostly improvisation.
Shipping & Returns

We make, finish and pack your order in Burlington, Ontario. Please allow up to 5 business days before it ships. Custom and personalized pieces may take longer—we’ll discuss the timing before work begins.
Once shipped, estimated delivery is 4–10 business days within Canada and 7–20 business days internationally. These are estimates; postal services occasionally have their own creative interpretation of a schedule. International duties and taxes are the buyer’s responsibility.

Changed your mind? Eligible items can be returned within 30 days of delivery, with return shipping at your expense. Custom and personalized items, Pop-Out Kits, and sale or clearance items are final sale.
